A man has been arrested on suspicion of killing Johnny Baird.
After a major response from the emergency services, they were found in the water in the Array Brook River on Thursday, June 3, at 2 p.m.
His body was found by two children playing in shallow water behind All Saints Church on Foxholes Road. Rochdale.

On Friday (July 2nd), officers reported that a 26-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Rochdale CID said Detective Inspector David Crewe: “Although we have made this arrest, we are still keeping an open mind about the circumstances surrounding the death of the young man.
“The inquiry is still ongoing and we are still appealing for information from anyone who has seen or spoken to him in the days leading up to his death.”
Joan left behind her sons Bradley, 25, Jordan, 23 and daughter Courtney.
Her father, Robert Baird, Told Manchester Evening News He was “heartbroken” at the news of his daughter’s death.
“We are all devastated. He has brothers and sisters,” he said.
