The main road between Oldham and Ashton Underline has been closed following reports of a man on the roof of the building.
A627 Ashton Road, Inn. Bardsley, Park Bridge Road and Simkinway in both directions.
There is also a large emergency service presence near Holy Trinity Church.

According to Greater Manchester Police (GMP) The man is busy with emergency services.

A GMP spokesman said: “Officers were called to Ashton Road, Oldham today (September 14) at 10.52am on a person’s welfare concerns.
“The man is on the roof of a building and is busy with the police.
“A scene is going on and roads are closed everywhere.
“GMFRS and NWAS are also in attendance.”
First Manchester confirmed that 409 services are diverting through Park Road, Lease Road, Queens Road and Mosley Road until cleared.
