Allison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary have confirmed that Friday morning was their last shift for a few months.
Presenters, who joined it ITV show Regular hosts in January said at today’s event that they are now on leave until September.
This means that Ruth Langsford and Emmanuel Holmes will return on Monday, July 12.
Allison and Dermott celebrated their last day with a show full of fun and drama.
But to end the show, they included magic mic dancers who performed brilliantly outdoors.
When he finished his routine by removing his peaks, a shaky Allison said: “I needed it, that’s all I can say; I think we all need it!”
Talking to the dancers, Dermott joked: “I’ll see you in next week’s rehearsals, I’ll see you there!”
He then added: “It’s up to us, Phil and Holly will be back next week with the last week before the summer; thanks for joining us, I hope you all enjoy the summer. It will be better. “
Allison said: “I can’t believe we’ve had such a great time, thanks to all the staff, staff, gallery and everyone who made it so easy for us; we’ll be back in September.”
Pointing to Dermott, he said: “You’ve been amazing!”
The pair also confirmed Philip Schofield and Holly Wolfby last week.
The morning duo will present the ITV Day Time show next week before leaving for the summer.
Ayman and Ruth will be appearing on the show for the next seven weeks.
This came after angry fans of the couple complained that Ruth and Eamonn had not performed for half a period earlier this month.
Ruth, 61, also confirmed her return Okay fine! Magazine “We’ll do it seven weeks from July. I’m looking forward to it.”
