A dog that was on the verge of collapsing after turning away from rescue centers due to being very aggressive found a loving new home.
Jello Russell-type Melo put his future in jeopardy when a doctor recommended that Pouch sleep because of his aggression.
The pet was taken to the pet by its former owner for behavioral problems when they saw him sniffing.
Her family did not want Mello to die, as she had not bitten anyone, and tried to find a rescue center to help her, but they would not take her anywhere.
Eventually, Mello was brought to Dogs 4 Rescue, where a behavioral specialist confirmed that he saw a common behavioral problem in Jack Russell Terriers that could be eased with training.
He spent two weeks in rescue, working with a behavioral specialist before moving to a new home on trial.
Julie, who had already adopted Simon’s Jack Russell from Dogs 4 Rescue, took Mello to a new home for a month to try.
The charity shared photos of the fair in its new home on Twitter with its story.
He told Team Dogs. Melo has been adopted and now lives with his fur brother Simon.
“If its former owners had listened to their doctor, he would have died now, recommending death for aggression without trying to recover.
“Every rescue turned him around thinking he was really bad.
“Mello didn’t bite anyone and our behavioral specialist confirmed that this was Jack Russell Terrier’s sharp behavior and could be dealt with.
“He had a great two weeks with us before he sued Julie who had adopted another JRT from us – Simon.
“A wonderful life fair.
“We are very happy to have a mother who loves you and you can take care of your strengths so that you can live a full and happy life.
“You were too young to give up.”

Mello now has a permanent home with Julie and Simon, but Doggers 4 Rescue is always on the lookout for new adopters in the Greater Manchester area.
New owner Julie said: “I want people to understand that putting bad or ‘dangerous’ dogs on the gold list can be the most loving dog with patience, understanding and love.
“Mello has a lot of personality. He makes me laugh every day and Simon is the best dog I’ve ever had.
“People shouldn’t always expect the perfect”
