An investigation has been launched into the death of a woman following a house fire Gorton.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a fire at a house on Daras Road just before 2.30am today (Tuesday).
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has not yet been formally identified, police said.
A 33-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

A security guard remained at the scene this morning as police and firefighters continued their investigation.
GMP Detective Superintendent Amber Wavell said: “This is a tragic incident in which a woman has tragically lost her life.
“I want to reassure the public that this is an isolated incident and that there will be a growing presence of emergency services in the area as we work to establish a full-fledged situation around this death.”
