Twitter user Sea Lloyd posted a photo of the street on September 13, saying: “One of the most popular parts of the city. No plaques yet.”

Manchester City Councilor Pat Carney said: “Joel is a genius at capturing our city in all its glory.
“I doubt he will have many more masterpieces, so it would be pointless to follow him with plaques.
“He’s a good man, so I’ll buy him a pint in the area.”
