The two drivers are working together
According to Edifier, the Newbody’s Pro will provide audio quality “traditionally found in speaker and over-ear headphones”, thanks to a dynamic and armored driver working together inside the buds.
For audiofiles, LHDC and AAC codec support means that Airbuds comes with high-race certification with the ability to transmit 96kHz / 24bit audio over Bluetooth. There is also a low delay gaming mode, which should pause any breaks when you use the keys to play the game.
Edifier says that Newbody’s Pro has beaten its “professionals, TWSNB2” in terms of active noise cancellation thanks to a better and more upgraded algorithm. Meanwhile, three internal microphones are designed to clear your calls, which applies noise cancellation to your voice.
In terms of design, they look exactly the same Adfair TWSNB2 Pro, With angular trunks and a vibrating charging case. Battery life is five hours from the buds themselves and 15 hours from charging with the ANC – it lasts six hours in the buds and 18 in the case when the feature is turned off.
Hopefully the new Airbuds are better than the last Edifier buds we tested. While we felt Adfair TWS1 Value for money, we weren’t convinced by their audio performance or their limited connectivity.
