Apple has just announced that the still-kicking 2015 12-inch MacBook is an old product. The six-year-old notebook now sells for between five and seven years, meaning it has found a place in the space of its choice. IPhone 5, IPod Classic, And the original iPad Air.
Seen by this change AppleInsider, Which noted that this is the first product from the MacBook line to be added to the list (although entries from the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro product lines have already been added). In 2019 Apple decided to stop production of its 2017 MacBook, and since then we have not received any new entries to replace it.

What does it mean to be an old product?
In addition to making you feel old, and possibly meaningful Apple collectors will consider paying more for your vintage MacBook, this new tag means your old MacBook is becoming ‘obsolete’. Is one step closer.
As stated Apple’s official page, Obsolete products are no longer able to obtain hardware service from Apple’s official suppliers and partners. This means that unless you find a reputable third party vendor, when your MacBook is broken, it’s incomprehensible.
Thankfully, you’d like to see the 2015 MacBook more years before the transition from vintage to obsolete. Were, but take it as a warning you might want to consider upgrading.
Since the product was released six years ago, Apple has made some great leaps with its internal tech. For one, you will now get a MacBook that uses the M1 processor, a powerful chip that Apple has developed for special use in its best products.

However, if you are happy with your classic tech, you do not need to upgrade, just look. Although you can still have it repaired, it can break down well before it’s too late.
