Veteran winger decides to join Campania-based club in Italian top flight
Former Bayern Munich and Fiorentina star Frank Ribery will sign for Serie A’s new boys Salernitana. the aim. Can confirm
Ribery has been without the club since leaving Fiorentina at the end of the 2020-21 campaign, with La Vivala finally deciding to extend his two-year stay at the Artemio French Stadium.
The 38-year-old was linked to Byron’s return at one point. But now that he seems to be extending his stay on the Italian top flight, Salernitana has reportedly given him a one-year contract.

The former France international failed to reach the same height as La Viola, but still managed to record five goals and ten assists in 51 appearances for the club in all competitions.
When could he make his debut for Salernitana?
If Ribery’s presentation at Salernitana goes smoothly, he and his new teammates will begin full training this weekend before the 2021-22 season resumes.
Ovalon has lost his first two fixtures ahead of the international break, but Ribery’s presence could add to that as he travels to Torino on Sunday.
