One in the staff Oldham The pub has ridiculed “individuals or individuals” who deliberately boxed 42 seats in its restaurant – and then did not appear.
Employees at The Black Lod on Tuesday were forced to push 47 customers after using fake information to sell seven tables.
These reservations for the six dinners were made using the online booking service using fake information and contact details each time.
Bookstones Road Pub staff say the purpose was to “disrupt the business financially”.
Bosses have called it a “deliberate, disgusting act” that causes them to refuse to pay customers who really wanted to feed them.
Those who were denied services included “loyal, elderly” customers who visit every Tuesday evening.

In a post, the pub said: “All the management and staff at BlackLad would like to say a big thank you to the person or persons who used our online booking service to book tables using inaccurate information. Decided and lost 42 seats in our restaurant
“It is not enough that our sector has already been most affected by the quaid, but this individual or individuals decided to have 7 table boxes in each for 6 dinners, each time for tomorrow with false data and Telephone number not intended to be used.
“It was not done for any other reason that this person or persons want to disrupt our business financially,” he said.
“All tables were booked through our system from 9.15am to 9.34am which were allocated for most of the day.
“We had to turn over a total of 47 customers who wanted to come to eat with us legally, but we had to refuse their table due to deliberate disgusting behavior,” he said.
“The main reason for his frustration is that our beautiful staff wasted half their hours yesterday on which they live,” he said. So much so that we had to turn down some of our elderly loyal customers who come every Tuesday evening because of this heinous act !!
“I will personally make sure that none of my staff is out of pocket because of someone’s stupidity.
“We’ve had to change some of the parameters of our own online system to avoid this again, but it’s as simple as booking a table online when you want to do it.
