The Italian champions are one of several clubs lined up to sign Cameron Kipper from Amsterdam.
Inter have joined the race to sign Ajax’s Andre Onana, who has less than 12 months left on his current contract.
Arsenal, Tottenham, Lyon and Borussia Dortmund have shown interest in Cameron International. In the last few months, however, the doping ban has eliminated any possible action.
The ban has been eased after the 25-year-old was allowed to play from November, and the Dutch giants know they are ready to lose the goalkeeper and now aim to make a fee from the January sale.
What did Ajax say?
Football director Mark Overmars said of his team’s former No. 1: “You can never say never in football. [about him renewing his contract], But at the moment I do not see that he has extended his contract with us.
“We’ve been very clear. We spent a lot of time negotiating to extend his contract, but it didn’t work out. Then we gave him a place to move over the summer and that didn’t work either. He can go in January, otherwise he will leave for free next June.
Who can win the race?
Arsenal buy goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale from Bournemouth for 24m (33 33m) FIFA ban after making a choice against a player
They can still see Onana again. If they choose to roll out the brand Leno in the coming months. Meanwhile, Onana’s agent, Albert Bottins, has spoken publicly about a possible move to Leon.
Similarly, Dortmund and Tottenham have signed alternative options but only Pierrelegi Golini has been included in the loan from Atlanta by Nono Esprito Santo – albeit with the option to buy at the end of the season.
Earlier, Onana was valued at about ڈالر 15 million (21 21 million), but that price is likely to fall in January as there is little time left on its contract.
Although he is free to sign a pre-contract from January 1 before the free transfer move in the summer, anyone willing to pay the fee can steal the march to sign a club shot stopper.
