Coronation Street star Dan Brookly Bank addressed fans after receiving many congratulatory messages on his engagement.
He also took to Instagram to show off his wedding ring, but of course, it’s not really Dan who is engaged.
Viewers ITV soap Monday night saw Billy Fruit agree to Todd Gramshaw’s request to make him an ‘honest man’.
After initial hesitation, Todd’s face turned red instead of quickly leaving the flat, and Billy asked Tables to get down from his knees and marry Todd.
But the festivities ended when Summer Spellman handed Todd a note lying on his doorstep.
Todd opened it to read: “Don’t be too comfortable. Your lie will be exposed.”
The result is that the cat’s ex-husband Paul Sarma will look into the allegations, but not everyone is as it seems.
Meanwhile, fans are sending their best wishes to Dean after the engagement.
Sharing close to his glittering wedding band on Instagram, the actor wrote: “He has put a ring on it… @ Coronation Street.”
He then took a selfie in his Instagram story in which he looked a little surprised as he wrote: “” For those who lovingly congratulate me on my engagement …
“It’s my role in Cononationstreet, I don’t …”
But that didn’t stop fans from commenting on the cat’s choice.
One said, “Novo Cat needs to see what it does. Pool is a better choice.”
Another wrote: “Noooooooooooooooooo! Cat and Paul are made for each other.”
“Oh cat I love you but we need to have a serious discussion about your life choices, they are not good for me,” a third added.
A fourth said: “Need to be Cat and Paul again … real love.”
