Being out of the forward after a year with the Ndola club means there are only two Kenyans left with the league champions.
Kenyan international John Makaota has left Zambian Super League team Zesco United, the club has confirmed.
The former Nazi Stars striker has left the Ndola Giants after signing for him in January 2020.
Signed by Striker Timo or Zico He was affected by the AFC Leopard where he scored 13 goals in 15 games in the 2019/20 campaign.
Makota could not compromise with the Zambian giants because they were not regularly fielded by head coach Mamba Mumba.
The signing of the Chatiya Mosso made Makota’s future among the Zambian giants uncertain as it meant that Kenya had to compete with more center forwards.

According to the club’s CEO, Molinga, Zesco United and the former Bloodcon FC star have reached an agreement to terminate their association.
“We have signed a parting deal with Makwata. I want to thank him for his services and his contribution to winning the team’s title this season,” said Malinga.
Makota’s first goal for Zakoko United was a 2-0 victory over Muftira Wanderers on 20 February 2020.
The 2016 PL Golden Boot winner has previously competed for the Nairobi City Stars for the National Super League (NSL) from 2011 to 2013. He then joined the Nazi Stars, where he played until 2016 before choosing to join the Zambian organization Bloodcon FC.
His departure means that only two Kenyans remain on the side of Ndola – like Veer, the club’s top scorer with 105 goals and goalkeeper Ian Otino, who has been named the most consistent player in the 2020/21 campaign.
Defenders David Odembo and Anthony Akomo enjoyed a long tussle with the Zambian champions and left after joining the former Caesar Chiefs in 2020 and later signing for the Napsa Stars.
