A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after a horrific accident at a hospital. East Manchester
A black Seat Leon and a white TM Duke motorbike were involved in a violent collision. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
Emergency services attended and the motorcyclist, who was 20 years old, suffered serious injuries.
The air ambulance was seen landing at nearby Anneless Park.
The man was taken to hospital where his condition is critical.
The GMP said the driver of the seat was present at the scene and “assistant officers”.
An investigation is underway and no arrests have been made.
The road between Shelford Avenue and Burton Drive junction remained closed for several hours.
Officers investigating the crash are now appealing to any witnesses or anyone with footage to contact them.
Sergeant Neil Pennington of the GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “The collision resulted in serious injuries.
“It happened in broad daylight in a residential area, so we’re hoping someone saw it or CCTV or dashcam footage of the accident.
