We’ve been expecting the Motorola Edge 2 for a while now – or the Edge 20, if some leaks are to be believed – as the 2020 follow-up Motorola Edge There could be a maximum of four phones as part of this second generation of Series Edge devices, and they are starting to leak.
In the name of dramatically curved screen edges, the 2020 Motorola Edge phone showed that Motorola still knows how to make medium-range and premium devices, even though most of the company’s products are budget devices.
We’ve given both Motorola Edge phones good scores, but there are still things that can improve the Edge 2 phone (or phones – as we said, there could be four devices). We’ve listed them below, so you can see if you agree.
We’ve also started to hear solid leaks about Edge 2 – well, Leak refers to the Edge 20 series, so that’s probably what they call it. There are apparently four devices with a ‘standard’, the Light, Pro, and a tweak version of the vanilla device designed for the US market.
Clearly, this is not the Motorola Edge, which was rumored earlier this year. It ended up being the phone we know about Moto G100 – In China, for some reason it was launched as EdgeS. Although this device may be considered as Edge Lite, it is not exactly the Edge 2 that we are waiting for.
- what’s this? The next generation of Moto Edge phones
- When will it come out? Maybe late July
- How much will it cost? Multiple devices with different price tags
Motorola Edge 2 price and availability
If the Motorola Edge 2 line has the same standard and plus or original device pro models, it will probably be a mid-range and a premium device. We also heard that there is a light device, which will be cheaper.
You can see the current price of Motorola Edge and Edge Plus below to see what we mean:
In terms of availability we’ll probably see both devices launching in the US, UK and Australia, but maybe not at the same time – for the first Edge generation, Motorola surprised in release, with the UK surpassing the standard Edge. Achieved first and the United States achieved it. Also, before all devices launch in all areas.
It is possible that we will see the same pattern repeated for the Edge 2 line, although this is not guaranteed.
A leak Suggests that the Motorola Edge 2 launch date will be at the end of July 2021, which will coincide with the launch of the original Edge about a year ago.
Leaks and rumors
We thought we’d heard some leaks from the Motorola Edge 2 – until we found out they were actually about the Edge S, or the Moto G100, so we didn’t really know much.
Is A major Motorola Edge 2 spring leak Here’s a look at the four expected new phones: The advanced handset seems to be powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor, and if the rumors are true, it will come with a 6.67-inch screen.
Apparently, the phone will have up to 12 GB of RAM and a triple lens rear camera with 108 MP main sensor and 5x optical zoom. It doesn’t have much to do with the best phones out there in 2021, but it’s definitely in the mid-flagship range, and the Motorola phone is more distinctive than any other phone in general.
Details about the different models that make up the second generation Motorola Edge family. (I have been told that PEstar may be an alternative codename, also called Sierra for this device.) It actually sounds like all Edge 2 phones will have a 108MP main camera, which is amazing to hear, and they all sound like big phones.
What we want to see
This is exactly what we want to see in the Motorola Edge 2, including changes inspired and inspired by others. Motorola Phones, Or rival.
Let’s buy a phone – and only a phone
Why doesn’t Motorola let us buy Edge itself? Well, we’re referring to the Moto G100 – a budget smartphone that was automatically bundled with a dock and cable for its ready-made service, and you couldn’t buy it without them.
Is a multi-tasking service ready so you can plug your phone into a computer monitor or TV for extra tasks, and it’s useful for some, but because of the extras that come with the G100 The price has hit the far north.
If Motorola Edge 2 phones support Ready For (which they likely do with Edge Plus), we’d like to see the desired peripherals available as optional accessories on the phone, not the required additions.
Improved camera performance
Motorola phones have never been a surprise for photography, and the Edge and Edge Plus are no exception, but more recently the company’s smartphones have been making improvements in the camera department.
If Motorola improves its photography software for the Edge 2, and perhaps even eliminates that resolution on telephoto cameras, the overall smartphone experience will be significantly improved.
Even more curved functions
The Motorola Edge had a curved screen, but that’s not all it did to survive the ‘Edge’ name – the phone had a lot of useful functions that made this tipped display more.
You can swipe up the curved display edge to bring up your list of notifications, making it easier to navigate a tall, slender phone. When playing a game, you could tap on parts of the curve that acted like a trigger that you could map.
They were great to use, but the overall list of additional curves was limited. Hopefully Motorola has some time to think about something new, so the Edge 2 could have more ways to use its design.
An improved fingerprint scanner
Easy-to-use screen fingerprint scanners are struggling with the astonishing number of smartphone manufacturers, and the Motorola Edge is an example of a sensor that was temperamental and tough to use.
We want to see if the Motorola Edge 2 series comes with better fingerprint scanners – perhaps the larger ones, ideally easier to use, or a scale that uses a variety of technologies that are more accurate in scanning. Is.
More affordable plus models
We want to see a competitive price for the Motorola Edge Plus 2, or the Edge 2 Plus (whatever it is called is scrapped).
While the Edge Plus had many advantages over its non-Plus siblings, it also had a much higher launch price, making it better for people to pay a standard Edge price.
