Police cordoned off the two wrecked cars after the men with baseball bats were spotted at A. Stock port Street
Officers were called to the scene on Halm Street today (Monday) around 30:30.
A GMP spokesman said he had been called to report the accident and that the “men with baseball bats” had seen the premiere near Buxton Road.
By the time police arrived, the men had fled the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
Earlier, photos taken at the scene on Helm Street showed a police siege around two cars.
Both vehicles appeared to be badly damaged and damaged.
One of the tires fell out of the car.
Several policemen were stationed at the scene.
In a statement, a GMP spokesman said: “On Monday, September 6, around 6pm, police were called to the Stockport Premier to report an RTC and men with baseball bats near them.
However, the culprits had fled the scene before police arrived.
The report is currently under investigation and three vehicles are being seized.
“It is unknown at this time what he did to cause the injuries.”
