A burial man has been charged with two counts of possessing a firearm with the intention of inciting fear of violence.
Richard Babington of Reims Bottom, Park Road, has been taken into custody.
He will appear before a magistrate in Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today (September 6).
His appearance in court came when police were called at 1.10pm on Saturday to report a disturbance in a property on Park Road.

Upon their arrival, a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal misconduct.
They then recovered two counterfeit firearms from the address, which were later secured by officers.
