A resident was traveling in Jackson Lane, Pointe West and Edlington Police said. Hazel Grove When three men on a moped approached him on the wrong side of the road.
One of the moped drivers stopped in front of the resident’s car, while the other two riders tried to open the car door.
Fortunately, the doors were locked and the driver drove off safely before reporting the incident to the GMP.
According to police, the driver believed that the moped riders intended to steal his car.
Cheshire Police said they had not received any reports of carjackings but residents were told to be vigilant.

The resident was driving when 3 mopeds came on the wrong side of the road, one moped stopped in front of his car and the riders of the other two mopeds tried to open the car door.
Thankfully, the car doors were locked and the fast-thinking driver managed to escape. The incident has been reported to the GMP.
