Detectives have released an urgent video appeal as concerns are mounting about a missing person who was last seen at the Manchester Royal Infirmary.
Van Rekia, 45, is being treated in hospital. And a month ago he disappeared without medication..
He was last seen on Tuesday, August 10, at around 8am and no one has seen or heard of him since.
Police had earlier warned that Van had failed to take the medication, which could make him ill if he did not take it.
Five weeks after his disappearance, detectives have now released a video message calling for public help in locating him.
The van is said to be black, about 5 feet and 9 inches long and medium.
He has scars on the bridge of his nose and on his left wrist, as well as a black panther tattoo on his right arm.
At the time of his disappearance, Van was seen wearing a burgundy T-shirt, a black track suit under a black burgundy gelatine and black Nike shoes.
