Google has surprised us all by announcing. 6 pixels And Pixel 6 Pro. Or rather, announcing in advance.
To be clear, it wasn’t a beacon of the company’s next big smartphone line. We (officially certified) have no idea how many megapixels, gigahertz, pixels and nuts these phones are capable of emitting. No YouTube has been filmed like Google’s next flagship phone.
All we got was an interesting press briefing with an overview of the Pixel 6 offer, along with artistically composed official shots. Really very interesting – and a little weird.
Putting aside the modernity of the pre-announcement format, there is something left behind. Where on earth Google Pixel 5A?
Rumor has it
Let’s make one thing very clear: Google Pixel 5A exists. We believe in it as much as we can without the bizarre official pre-launch press release.
But this is largely due to the bizarre rumors that suggest the cancellation of Pixel 5A. As a result, Google itself insisted on issuing a rumor-mongering statement, and confirmed that the Pixel 5A5G (yes, it clearly used the title) would launch at the same time. Pixel 4A Launched last year.
A Google spokesman said: “The Pixel 5A5G is not canceled. 9 to 5 Google.. “It will be available in the US and Japan later this year and will be announced according to when a series of phones were introduced last year.”
To keep you from getting on the Internet, last year’s series was announced in August (for 4G models) and September (for 5G models) in 2020.
However, this confirmation from Google did not remove the Pixel 5A oddity as much as it did when it was moved. Note that while confirming the existence of the Pixel 5A5G, Google only said that it would release the phone in the United States and Japan. It’s weird.
Will we take it, that the Pixel 5A will not launch in the UK, Australia and other areas? Or is it just that there will be both 5G models and 4G models, and that both will not necessarily be available in the same countries?
This is a very strange situation. But then again, 2021 has been a bit of a weird year for smartphones.
Google is not alone in getting out there with its vision of a smartphone release. As my colleague James Rogerson. Recently pointed out, Many high profile late 21 2021 phones seemingly ready for delay or cancellation.
With the exception of Samsung, the world’s largest smartphone maker, no one has effectively canceled its late 2021 flagship line. Will not happen Samsung Galaxy Note 21 This year, the foldable Galaxy Z line is ready to take its place.
We have also heard reports of delays. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, And even it can’t start at all.
Far from Samsung, rumors are circulating that there will be no OnePlus 9T. In recent years, the brand’s flagship review has become a feature of the holiday release schedule, but it may be a thing of the past.
Let’s not reduce the level of agitation here. We are talking about following the three favorite and most popular phones of the second half of 2020.
It is very easy to find the culprit of all this strangeness. Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated during the 19th century. Quite simply, fewer things are being developed, which at the same time have not been helped by the lack of a global chip set.
Pixel 5A hope.
Despite these similarities, we are more optimistic about the prospects for the Pixel 5A – and not just because Google has officially confirmed that it’s still coming.
While you’ll never catch us making it, there’s an argument that the Galaxy S21 FE, OnePlus 9T, And even the Galaxy Note 21 doesn’t really need to exist. For all their favorite tweaks, they’ll be basically a half-year repeat on early-year flagships, which seems a bit extravagant at times to tighten the belt.
In contrast, the Pixel 5A will be a real annual update. Despite its allegedly familiar design, it’s a perfect follow-up to an impressive affordable phone with a great camera that was launched a year ago. This is a natural peak life cycle for any smartphone.
The Google Pixel 5A still has a clearly defined location, even if Google doesn’t know exactly where it is or how to contact it.
