The annual giant football charity event, Soccer Aid, is back for 2021 and there are many celebrities in its lineup.
This year, the match between England and the World XI will be played on Saturday night (September 4) at Manchester City.
From former footballers to singers and actors – another star-studded line-up is ready to take part in the match, which will be broadcast live on ITV.
But there are also all the important managers.
England’s managers for this year’s event are David Seaman, Micah Richards and Swan Goran Eriksen.
Soccer Aids Former England soccer manager Harry Redknapp has been confirmed to be the World XI manager with the help of Judy Murray and Robbie Kane.
David C. Mann is a former professional Arsenal and England player who won 75 caps for England, making him the second highest scoring player in the country.
Micah Richards is another former professional who has played for Manchester City and Austin Villa in the Premier League and the English Football League – scoring a total of 295 goals with Austin Villa during his five-year career.
Sven-Göran Eriksson is a successful club manager who started managing various clubs in Sweden, Italy and Portugal, winning 18 trophies – he has also won the UEFA Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup.
Prior to the charity event, Judy was announced as Soccer Aid Coach for 2021 and will be joining Harry on the occasion.
The mother of tennis legend Andy Murray has confirmed that she will be coaching for the 10th match this year and told Good Morning Britain that she is very happy.
